on the matter of thread-jacking: i'm generally totally open to it! i just trust people to use their best judgement as to whether or not the timing is appropriate. on mind-reading, telepathy, and sensing emotions, i'm not inherently against these in general! data's canonically written as a blank spot to people with those powers. probably because he's a very large, if sentient and unusual, machine. i'm willing to discuss flukes/exceptions/what people might get if they tuned into his frequency or whatever! half the fun of rp is doing a little exploring. interrupting his tl;dr: PLEASE DO. It's one of the only ways to shut him up in canon. I'm happy to pre-arrange interruptions. I'm also completely fine with receiving PMs or private plurks asking for an edit to cut him off where a character naturally would cut him off.
